Vanity Smanity

A recent realization: I am my mothers child and I must cut my hair. I'm also thinking about coloring it blond too. Hahaha. Thanks mom, for instilling in me the overwhelming desire to change my hair every 3 weeks. Love you!
Here are some pictures of my new doo.

pretty much the back

from below you can see my tiny Mohawk sticking up right there.

So, sorry the pictures aren't that spectacular. I realized, I needed to update for my frequent readers AKA Katelyn. And so I just took them a hot second ago. Hope you all are having a wonderful time. Thanks for reading!

Silly Stuff or Birds at Sea

Yesterday it was gross outside and to avoid going out I wrote some mail, watched some netflix and made this silly collage.
As far as materials go here's how I got myself set up:

Yesterday, I bought some really cool clear elmer's glue at the grocery store while I was out getting a folder and pens. It was half price!
Luckily, I got some matte board in a free box on the side of the road a few months ago and have hung onto it until now.
Most of the images that I used ended up being from the stock of National Geographics that Daniel Wood sent my way.
Last but not least, the chalk pastels are my Mom's from way back in the day. So, that's how I came by everything I needed without spending much of my precious cash $$.

Full picture before tape is pulled

Baby bird, this one out of Portland's own The Mercury, sitting on some antlers

Bird afloat. This guy is probably my favorite "bird at sea" He is also from The Mercury

Moving AGAIN!

So, my household is being dissolved.

Thanks to a history of late rent payments the landlord is throwing the leaseholders out.

This, unfortunately, means that I have to move again.

Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you look at it, one of my Portland friends, Jack, is moving to Peru for 3 months. I am going to take over his space which will help both him and my newly homeless self, out quite a bit. He will get to keep all his stuff at his old house and I'll get a pre furnished (with a TV & record player I might add) space in which to live and not have to be homeless. Yay!!

That's all for now folks. Hope you have a great evening.
