Things that keep me from sleeping

Outside of alarms, the things that keep me from sleeping are mostly positive. I started an art project about a week ago and am frequently too involved in working or thinking about it to sleep. Even when I'm out of supplies, I'm planning what I'd like to be doing and what I need to get. I've got to work for the next five or six days which means it might be a bit difficult to work in cross stitching, supply getting, and (hopefully) table saw repair. But, I've been relatively productive, as of late, so I might be able to get all that done. It's nice only working until 3 or 4 at the latest because you can sure get a lot done in the evening if you can muster post-work energy.

I'm reading a new book but I'm not totally in love with it so It's not doing so much work keeping me awake. Mostly, it's just art planning that's keeping me from catching those zz's. I've also, been toying with the idea of going to school for nursing (maybe to be an ob/gyn nurse) I'm going to try and find out the requirements to receive in state tuition here in OR are before I get too carried away with planning that.

I hope you all are having a great Tuesday and are losing sleep over something good too.

  1. As a matter of fact, i lost some sleep a couple days about because of a drawing i was working on. It was of a giant robot and a samurai. The robots posture was giving me some difficulties so i couldn't get any sleep until it was figured out. SO i stayed up late, passed out, woke up for work, than solved my little problem during lunch. Its weird. That was the first time art has ever kept me up at night. I kind of liked it.
